Professor at Marseille University Hospitals, Hôpital Nord, and Hôpital de la Timone

Frédéric Matonti is a Professor at the Marseille University Hospitals, and practices at Hôpital Nord and Hôpital de la Timone in Marseille, France. He holds a PhD in neuroscience focused on retinal prosthetics, conducted with the teams of Dr. Picaud at the Institut de la Vision (Paris) and Dr. Chavane at the Institut de Neuroscience de la Timone (Marseille).

Frédéric Matonti serves as Secretary General of the French-Speaking Retina Specialists Society (CFSR), and is the author or co-author of more than 160 peer-reviewed scientific publications, as well as numerous chapters in educational textbooks.
